Angela Pang (Principal)

is the principal of PangArchitect, an independent design practice based in Hong Kong. The firm received a Special Award from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Green Building Award from the Hong Kong Green Building Council, both for the renovation of the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s main library, completed in 2014. Recent works include Student Dormitory for 300 students for New Asia College, Digital Scholarship Lab for the University Library for the Chinese University of Hong Kong, House L along the beach front of Ting Kau in Hong Kong, among others.
Pang earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and Master of Architecture II from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Before establishing PangArchitect, she worked in the office of Rafael Moneo in Madrid and SANAA in Tokyo.  She was the Visiting Associate Professor at the Sam Fox School and has taught both option design studio and the master thesis Degree Project.
